The Bed and Breakfast Serpillo is located in Maniglia di Perrero, a small village lost into nature, at 1.200 m above sea level. The house is the departure of ancient mule tracks and hiking paths that lead to passes and lodges, offering amazing sights on the surrounding mountain chains in Val Germanasca.
Close to this area you may visit the historical talc mines where until the 60’s people dug for talc.
The historical events in this location were tightly interlaced with the Waldensian church history, which has its origins in the heretical medieval movement of Poor Men of Lyon’s. You may as well visit several ancient temples to enhance your knowledge about the Waldensian movement.
All the area is nowadays part of a grazing sheep consortium and from May to September you can taste and buy delicious fresh and mature cheese, from the local producers.
Together with La Foresteria, this B&B is an interesting accomodation for the visitors of the Ethnological Museum of Valle Germanasca and Val Chisone.
